Objective. Every year, around 150 million people worldwide are diagnosed with some type of urinary tract infection. Urinary infections the second most common, after respiratory infections. The aim this paper is microbiological analysis urine primary health care patients on territory municipality Prokuplje. Methods. A six-month was conducted retrospectively and included isolation identification bacterial fungal pathogens Results. total 706 samples were collected. Of tested samples, 388 (54.96%) positive for pathogenic microorganisms. common pathogen E. coli a share 67.52% in relation to number positively samples. Then follow Proteus spp. 10.57%, Enterococcus 9.54%, Enterobacter 5.67%, Klebsiella 2.58%, Pseudomonas aeruginosa 1.55%, S. aureus 1.03% C. albicans Gardnerella vaginalis 0.77% each According gender distribution Gram-negative bacteria, among women (82.93%), while men (80%). Gram-positive 100% present only female population, as albicans. Conclusion. When choosing antibiotic therapy infections, it very important harmonize age patient.
